Wassily Kandinsky'nin sanat tanımı

Abstract

Wassily Kandinsky'nin Sanat Tanımı bu tezin özünü oluşturmaktadır. Sanatçının yaşamından kesitler, yapıtları ile yaşadığı dönemin kültürel, sosyal ve siyasal çerçevesi içinde değerlendirilmesi, sanat kuramına bakışı, yapıtlarından ve yazılarından yola çıkarak sanatı tematik, spiritüel, soyut ve renk olarak tanımlama şekli incelenecektir. Modem sanatın gelişmesinde üstlendiği öncü rolün daha net kavranması sağlanmaya çalışılarak, ortaya konan veriler ışığında, Kandinsky'nin kuramsal yazı ve yapıtlarında sanatı nasıl tanımladığının aydınlığa kavuşması amaçlanmaktadır.

Art Defınition of Wassily Kandinsky forms the main part of this thesis. I will give examples from his life and evaluate his works in terms of the cultural, social and political environment of the period. I try to look deeper into his artistic interpretation based on the themes, abstract concepts and speciflc colors chosen by him by taking into account his approach to the art theory as well as his numerous works and writings. In order to support a better understanding of the leading role he assumed in the development of modem art, I will attempt to explain the specifıc defınition of art given in the theoretical writings and works of Kandinsky in the light of data to be provided in this thesis.
