Cihat Burak'ın resimlerinde hayal ve mizah

Abstract

Bireyin algısına kılavuzluk eden, hayallerdir. Nesnenin ilişkiler sistemi, hayali için de geçerlidir. Nesnenin anlatımı, hayalde karışık, düşüncede ise nettir. Bu karışık yapı dolayısıyla da hayal, düşünceyi de özünde barındırır. Anı ise, hayallerin canlanmasıdır. Mizah ise çelişkilerin saklanılmak istenirken açığa çıkmasından başka bir şey değildir. Cihat Burak, toplumsal eleştiriye yatkınlığı, kullandığı biçim ile içeriğin karşılıklı etkileşim içinde olmasını da gerekli kılmıştır. İnsanların gülünç, abartılı, sorumsuz ve benzeri hallerini resimlemiş, gözlemlerini bize olduğu gibi yansıtmıştır. Hazırlanan bu çalışmada da Cihat Burak’ın sanatı bu bağlamda incelenmiştir.
