Belgeselde mekân ve hafıza: Masumiyet belgeseli üzerine bir değerlendirme

Abstract

Özü gereği yaşamın, yaşanmışlığın kaydını tutan belgesel bu yönü ile hafızaya da katkı sunmaktadır. En temel anlamı ve işlevi ile hafıza geçmişin yaşanmışlıklarını saklayan ve geri çağırarak hatırlamanın gerçekleştiği alandır. Belgesel sinema geçmişi geri çağırarak hatırlama edimini gerçekleştiren en önemli araçlardan biridir. Görsel işitsel perspektiften bakıldığında tarihsel bir yansıma ve kanıt özelliği taşıyan belgesel yaşanmışlıkların, anıların bu anıların bıraktığı duyguların bugüne ve geleceğe taşınmasını mümkün kılmaktadır. Belgesel toplumsal hafızanın hatırlaması istenen anılar içinde kullanılan araçlardan biridir. Bu yönü ile belgesel bireysel ve toplumsal hatırlama yolunu açarken, hatırlanan geçmişin kaydını tutma, belgeleme, görselleştirme özelliği ile bir hafıza mekânıdır. Çalışma boyunca hafızanın taşıyıcı olmakla beraber kendisi de olan belgeselin geçmişe götürme, hatırlatma, yüzleştirme ve bütün bu süreci bugüne taşıma özelliği ile hafıza mekânı olması Masumiyet (Hakan Aytekin, 2021) filmi üzerinden incelenmiştir. İçerik analizi ile incelenen belgesel geçmişi hatırlatma, anıları bugüne taşıma özelliği ile geçmişle yüzleşmeye bugün ile geçmiş arasındaki farkı tespit etmeye ve bunun üzerine düşünmeye yönlendirmektedir. Bu noktada belgesel geçmişi yaşanmışlıkları ve duyguları ile bugün ve geleceğe taşımak üzere bir hafıza mekânı görevi görmektedir.

Documentary, essentially records life and experiences, also contributes to memory in this aspect. Memory in an individual sense can be summarized literally as storing the experiences of daily life and recalling them when necessary. Documentary cinema is one of the most important tools perform the act of remembering by recalling the past. When viewed from an audiovisual perspective, documentary, has the feature of historical reflection and evidence, makes it possible to carry experiences, memories and the emotions left by these memories to the present and the future. Documentary is one of the tools used in the memories that social memory wants to remember. In this respect, while documentary paves the way for individual and social remembrance, is a realms of memory with the feature of keeping a record of the remembered past, documenting and visualizing it. Throughout the study, the documentary, which is the carrier of memory but also itself, is examined through the documentary Innocence (Hakan Aytekin, 2021), as it is a realms of memory with the feature of taking back to the past, reminding, confronting and carrying this whole process to the present. The documentary, examined through content analysis, reminds us of the past and carries memories to the present, leading us to confront the past, to identify the difference between today and the past, and to think about it. At this point, the documentary serves as a realms of memory to carry the past with its experiences and emotions to the present and the future.
