Abstract

Giysi ve aksesuar yapımına uygun olan geleneksel dokumaların çevre ile olan etkileşimleri Son yıllarda oldukça artan çevre kirliliğine bağlı ekolojik denge sorunları, beraberinde bir takım sorunları da gündeme getirmiştir. Özellikle tekstil endüstrisinde, çok fazla kullanılmakta olan kimyasal içerikli malzemelerin, insan sağlığına ve çevre kirliliğine neden olan olumsuz etkileri ileri boyutlardadır. Bu durum, doğal elyafların tekstil sektörü içindeki kullanımını önemli bir konuma taşımaktadır. Bu nedenle, hazır giyim ve tekstil/ moda tasarımı alanlarında, etik moda tasarımı kavramıyla bağıntılı, doğa kaynaklı kumaşların kullanımı teşvik edilmektedir. Özellikle, gelişmiş Avrupa ülkelerinin duyarlı olduğu bu durum, ne yazık ki Ülkemizde gerektiği ölçüde önemli görülmemektedir. Yine Ülkemizde önemsenmeyen ve unutulmak üzere olan bir başka konu da doğal kaynaklı elyafların oluşturduğu geleneksel dokumalarımızdır. Bitkisel ve hayvansal kaynaklı elyafların kullanımıyla oluşan geleneksel dokumalarımızdan ‘Şile Bezi’, ‘Rize Bezi’ ve ‘Ödemiş İpeği’ gibi tekstil-lerimizin giysi ve aksesuar yapımına uygun olduğu görülmektedir. Bu görüş doğrultusunda adı geçen geleneksel dokumalarımızdan çağdaş anlamda tasarımların gerçekleştirebileceği görüşüyle birlikte, tekstil sektörünün yenilik fikrini güçlendirip, geliştirebileceği düşünülmektedir. Böylece, hem unutulmak üzere olan kültürel değerlerimizi ön plana çıkarmak, hem de çevre kirliliği, ekolojik çevre sorunları, insan sağlığı tehdidi gibi konuları minimal düzeye indirmek amaçlanmaktadır. ‘Doğadan gelen doğaya geri dönmeli’ görüşü doğrultusunda, tekstil/ moda tasarımcılarına, akademisyenlere, sektörde görev yapan kişilere bu konuya ilişkin çok büyük sorumluluklar düşeceğine inanılmaktadır.

Ecological balance problems related to the environmental pollutions increased in recent years. This situation brought about some of the problems. Especially in the textile sector, some of the chemical substances which are used hugely, also their negative influences to human health and environmental pollution are going forward. This is an important position in the use of naturel fibers in the textile sector. Therefore, relative to the concept of ethical fashion design are encouraged using naturel fabrics source, in ready-to-wear and textile/fashion design areas. In particular, the developed countries is sensetive to this situation, unfortunately it is not so important in our country to the extent necessary. Traditional wovens are occured by the naturel fibers, but again in our country this traditional wovens are gone unheeded and forgotten also. Traditional wovens are occured by plant and animals based fibers. In this traditional wovens as ‘Şile Cloth’, ‘Rize Cloth’ and ‘Ödemiş Silk’ is very suitable for making both clothing and accessories. Accordingly, thought that traditional wovens might be adapted with new and contemporary designs. This attitude will strengthen and develop the idea of the innovation in textile sector. So that, the aim is both bring to the fore cultural values and reducing some problems such as environmental pollution, ecological environment, human health. With this motto ‘Come from nature, should go back to nature’, textile/fashion designers, academicians, people who work in the sector has great responsibilities about the subject.
