Bursa kumaş üretiminin günümüzde tekstil sektörü içindeki yeri

Abstract

Türkiye’de pamuk tarımına dayalı olarak gelişmeye başlayan tekstil sektörü zamanla ihracat yapabilen bir sektör haline gelmiştir. Yıllar içerisinde artan kapasite ve yakalanan ihracat başarısı, Türkiye’yi dünyanın önde gelen tekstil tedarikçilerinden biri haline getirmiştir. Gelişen tekstil sanayisi, hammadde tedarikçisi olduğu hazırgiyim ve konfeksiyon sanayisinin de gelişmesini sağlamıştır. 1980’li yıllardan itibaren dünyanın belli başlı tekstil ve konfeksiyon ihracatçıları arasında yer alan Türkiye’de kumaş üretiminin yoğunlaştığı başlıca iller; Bursa, Denizli, İstanbul, İzmir, Adana, Kayseri, Mersin ve Uşak’tır. Bursa, ulaşım yollarının kesiştiği bir noktada bulunmasının yanında ipeğin üretim ve ticaret merkezi olmasıyla geçmişten günümüze öne çıkmış bir tekstil kenti özelliği taşımaktadır. Sahip olduğu bu nitelikleri, teknolojinin imkânlarıyla sürekli geliştiren Bursa, Türk tekstil sektöründe olduğu kadar dünya pazarında da önemli bir yere sahiptir. 20.yy.’a kadar ipek üretimi ve dokuması ile öne çıkan bursa’da; bölgesel savaşlar ve bu savaşların toplum üzerindeki ekonomik ve sosyal etkileri sebebi ile zayıflayan ipek üretim ve tüketimi Cumhuriyet döneminde Atatürk önderliğinde devlet sermayesi ile kurulan İpek iş, Merinos, Gemlik Suni gibi fabrikalar sayesinde tekrar canlanmıştır. İpek hammaddesinin doğal üretim sürecinden kaynaklı sıkıntılar sebebi ile 1930’lardan sonra Bursa’da Sentetik ipek ve yün üretimine ağırlık verilmiştir. Bursa’da tekstil sanayisinin gelişmesinde destek olan Kurumlardan Bursa Ticaret Ve Sanayi Odası (BTSO), ortak akıl ve strateji geliştirmek üzere kurulmuş olup, kurulduğu günden bu yanada tekstil sektörünün gelecek vizyonunu belirlemektedir. Kentin ekonomisine öncülük etmekte, Uluslararası Tekstil Ar-Ge Proje Pazarı Zirvesi ve diğer AR-GE çalışmalarına katkı sağlamakta ve Üniversite-Sanayi ortaklığını, geliştirmiş olduğu projelerle güçlendirmektedir. (BTSO) önderliğinde, teknik tekstil sektörlerinde inovasyona yönelik katma değerli üretimin güç kazanması amacıyla kurulan BUTEKOM Mükemmeliyet merkezi, sektörde yenilikçi fikirlerin hayata geçmesinde öncülük etmektedir. Gelişen teknolojinin imkânlarını kullanan Bursa dokuma kumaş sektörü, tekstil dokuma kumaş teknolojisindeki gelişmeleri yakından takip etmektedir. Bursa kumaş üretiminde neredeyse her sahada ilerlemiş durumdadır, ister ev tekstili, isterse giyim sektöründe başarılı işlere imza atmış firmalara ev sahipliyi etmektedir, fakat bu çalışma giysi kumaşı üzerine yoğunlandırılmış, araştırma o sınırlama çerçevesinde yapılmıştır.

Textile sector in Turkey, which started to develop with cotton agriculture, has become an industry capable of exportation over time. The increasing capacity and export success over the years made Turkey one of the world’s leaders of textile suppliers. Being the raw material suppliers, this developing textile industry paved way to the development of garment and clothing industry. Being amongst the prominent textile and garment exporters since 1980, Turkey has some major cities, where textile production is denser. These are, Bursa, Denizli, İstanbul, İzmir, Adana, Kayseri, Mersin and Uşak. Besides being located at the intersection of transportation routes, Bursa is also famous for being a textile center, where silk is produced and traded from past to present. Developing these opportunities constantly with the help of technology, Bursa has an important place in the world market as well as in the Turkish textile sector. Until the 20th century, Bursa had been known for its silk production. However, with regional wars and their social effects on the society, silk production and consumption weakened. With the help of the factories like İpek İş, Merinos and Gemlik Suni, which were established with State Capital under the leadership of Atatürk, silk production was revived. Because of the problems that appear during the natural production process of silk, Synthetic silk and wool production became more widespread in Bursa after 1930’s. Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, one of the supporters of the development of textile industry, was established to develop a common sense and strategy and it has been setting strategies since its foundation. It leads the economy of the city, contributes to the R&D studies and to the International Summit of R&D Project Market and strengthens the collaboration between the university and industry by means of various projects. Established for the purpose of strengthening value added production in technical textile industry under the leadership of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, BUTEKOM Center for Excellence plays a pioneering role in the application of innovative ideas. Using advanced technology opportunities, Bursa woven fabric sector closely follows the developments in textile, woven fabric technology. Bursa is advanced in almost every field of fabric production. It hosts successful companies both in home textile and clothing industry. This study focuses on garment fabric and it is limited with this area.
