Enez (Ainos) ve yakın çevresinin turizm potansiyelinin saptanması

Abstract

Günümüzde turizm, ülkemizde ve dünya genelinde ekonomik açıdan önemli bir yere sahip olan sektörlerden biridir. İçinde bulunduğumuz 21. yüzyılda gelişen teknoloji ve yaşanan gelişmeler, seyahat etmenin kolaylaşması ve hızlı hale gelmesi insanların turistik aktivitelere ulaşmasını kolaylaştırmıştır. Sürekli gelişmekte ve büyümekte olan turizm sektörü insanlara günlük hayatlarından uzaklaşabilecekleri ve rahatlayabilecekleri farklı turizm türleri ile imkanlar sunmaktadır. Bu çalışma kapsamında seçilen Edirne ilinin Enez ilçesi gerek doğal güzellikleri gerek tarihi ve kültürel alanların gerekse uzun sahil şeridinin varlığından dolayı turizm potansiyeli oluşturmaktadır. Bu yüksek lisans tezinde literatür araştırmaları, yaz ve kış kullanımı anketleri, resmi kurum yöneticileri ile yapılan söyleşilerle ve SWOT analizi sonucunda alanın potansiyelini kullanıp kullanamadığı ve bu potansiyele engel olan sorunlar belirlenecek olup bu sorunlara uygun çözümler sunularak alanın potansiyelinin tam anlamda kullanılmasının sağlanması için öneriler sunulması amaçlanmıştır.

In the 21st century, tourism is an important sector in economic terms in the World and in our country. The fact that traveling has become easier and faster with the developing technology and developments experienced in this century has made it easier for people to reach tourist activities. Thanks to the constantly developing and growing tourism sector, people can get away from their daily lives and relax. Different types of tourism offer this opportunity. Enez district of Edirne province, which constitutes the scope of this study, creates tourism potential thanks to its natural beauties and historical and cultural locations, as well as the presence of a long coastline. In this master’s thesis, it is investigated whether the field uses its potential as a result of literature research, summer and winter use surveys, interviews with the executives of official institutions, and SWOT analysis. Besides, the problems hindering this potential will be identified and it is aimed to present suggestions to ensure that the potential of the area will be fully exploited, where appropriate solutions will be provided to these problems.
