dc.description.abstractEbeveynleşme ebeveynin çocuğu kendi ebeveyni yerine koyduğu; buna uygun ihtiyaçlarını ve/veya kişisel beklentilerini çocuktan karşılamasını beklediği, kendisine ait rolü ve sorumluluğu çocuğa yüklediği ebeveyn-çocuk arasındaki ilişkide özel bir bozulma olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı ebeveynleşme yaşantısını ayrıntılı değerlendirmek ve çocukluk dönemindeki ebeveynleşme yaşantılarının, yetişkinlikte hem bireysel hem de yakın ilişkilerde gözlenen etkilerini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla araştırmada nitel yöntem ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları kullanılarak yaklaşık bir saat süren derinlemesine çevrimiçi görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Bu bağlamda 7 evli katılımcıya 9 görüşme sorusu sorulmuştur. İlk yedi madde katılımcıların çocuklukta deneyimledikleri ebeveynleşme yaşantılarının ayrıntılarını, niteliğini ve ebeveynleşme kavramının yapısını değerlendirmeye sorulardır. Son iki soru ise çocukluktaki ebeveynleşme yaşantısının genel olarak şimdiki ilişkilerini nasıl etkilediği hakkındaki düşünceleri, duyguları ve algılarını değerlendirmeye yönelik sorulardır. Görüşmelerden elde edilen verilere içerik analizi uygulanmış ve kategoriler belirlenmiştir. Kodlama süreci araştırmacılar tarafından yürütülmüştür. Buna göre ‘ebeveynleşmeye ilişkin duygular’, ‘yetişkin rolü üstlenmek’ vb. gibi 11 ana kategori ve 48 alt kategori olduğu belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre çocukluk çağında ebeveyn kaybının ve ailenin gelir düzeyinin düşük olmasının ya da aile içi ani ekonomik değişikliklerin ebeveynleşmeyi ortaya çıkaran ve/veya ebeveynleşmeyle ilgili önemli faktörler olduğu düşünülmektedir. Nitel verilerin analizi ile elde edilen bulgular, ebeveynleşme kavramının anlaşılmasına katkı sağlamasının yanı sıra, literatürle uyumlu ve farklılaşan önemli yanları ortaya çıkarması açısından önemlidir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre ebeveynleşme yaşantısına özgü terapi tekniklerinin geliştirilmesi, ebeveynleşme açısından risk altında olan çocuk ve ergenlere yönelik koruyucu çalışmaların yapılması, ebeveynlere yönelik bilgilendirme ve seminer çalışmalarının düzenlenmesi ile ebeveynleşme kavramının kültürlerarası çalışmalarla değerlendirilmesi önerilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractParentification is where the parent replaces their child with their parents; defined as a special deterioration in the relationship between the parent and the child, where he expects the child to meet his/her needs and/or personal expectations accordingly, and imposes his/her own role and responsibility on the child. The aim of the research is to understand the nature of the parentification experiences of married individuals during their childhood. For this purpose, using the qualitative method, semi-structured interview forms and in-depth online interviews were conducted with the participants which lasted about one hour and semi-structured interview forms. In this context, 9 interview questions were asked to 7 married participants. The first seven items aimed to evaluate the details and quality of the parentification experiences in childhood and the structure of the concept of parentification. The last two questions are evaluating thoughts, feelings, and perceptions about how childhood parenting experiences affect current relationships in general. Content analysis were applied to the data obtained from the interviews and the themes were determined. The coding process was carried out by the researchers. Accordingly, it has been determined that there are 11 main themes and 48 subthemes such as 'feelings about parenting', 'taking the adult role' etc. According to the findings, it is thought that the loss of a parent in childhood is an important factor that reveals and/or parentification, low income level of the family in childhood or sudden economic changes for the family are important factors that lead to parentification. The findings obtained through the analysis of qualitative data are important in terms of contributing to concept of parentification, as well as revealing important aspects that are compatible and differentiated with the literature. According to the findings, it was recommended to develop therapy techniques specific to the parentification experience, to carry out protective studies for children and adolescents at risk for parentification, to organize information and seminars for parents, and to evaluate the concept of parentification with intercultural studies.en_US
