Resim ve yazı diyalektiğinin günümüz açılımları

Abstract

Bu tezin temel amacı, resim-yazıların harflere evrilmesinden, alfabelerin ortaya çıkışına, daha sonra matbaanın icadı, endüstri devrimi ve günümüze kadar olan süreçte; yazının yaygınlaşması ile beraber, Doğu’da ve Batı’da görsel sanatlarda ortaya çıkan yazı ve resim beraberliğinin oluşum süreçlerini incelemek ve ortaya koymaktır. İlk bölümde yazıların ortaya çıkışı tarihsel süreç içerisinde incelenmiş, yazının yayılması ile birlikte Doğu’da ve Batı’da el yazmaları ve Doğu’da İslamiyet’teki suret yasağından dolayı ortaya çıkan yazı resim sanatının üzerinde durulmuştur. Daha sonraki bölümlerde ise; Modernizm sürecinde ortaya çıkan akımlar ve 1960’lardan sonra kavramsal sanatta; yazı ile resmin tek ve birlikte kullanılması ve bunun Türkiye’deki geleneksel ve çağdaş yansımaları irdelenmiştir.

The main idea of this thesis; is to introduce and display the usage of text and image together in fine arts both in East and West. The period observed starts from the appearance of picture symbols, continues with alphabets, then the invention of the press machine, industrial revolution and comes until today. In the first chapter, historical information about the appearance of the first scripts and writing systems is given. Following the spread of writing systems worldwide, both manuscripts and art of writing is emphasized in East and West. In the following chapters, the usage of text and image together is explained during the avant-garde art movements in the period of modernism, as well as in conceptualism after 1960’s and then its reflections on Turkey’s both on traditional and contemporary art is considered.
